2019 American Lake Fall Classic - Sunday, October 13, 2019
Hosted by the Commencement Bay Rowing Club, American Lake Fall Classic is a 5 km race that takes place on American Lake in Lakewood, WA at Harry Todd Park. There is great viewing of the first kilometer and the last 2.5 km from shore.
Please plan on arriving and staying overnight in the Tacoma/Lakewood area on Saturday, so that your athlete(s) can attend the coxswain/coaches meeting on Sunday morning at 7:15 AM. The meeting will take place upstairs in the Commencement Bay Rowing Club (CBRC) Boathouse at 8928 North Thorne Lane SW, Lakewood, WA 98498. Participating team members are responsible for their own transportation and accommodations. All participating ORU Juniors MUST have a Championship Membership with US Rowing, and have signed the online waiver (release of liability).

American Lake Fall Classic Parking Information Note: There will be no passenger car parking in the park itself. Additional Parking will be available along the fence line of the park. Do not park on the residential side opposite from the park. Off-site parking is available at Tillicum Elementary and some on-streets parking near the park. There is No Parking along the back fence outside the park. You will be towed. There is no parking for spectators or athletes directly near the boathouse for the safety of athletes and boats. The races should be done by 2:00 pm. The coaches will dismiss rowers after all ORU boats are derigged and loaded onto the trailer. Official results will be available at
