ORU Junior Club
It is with pleasure that we begin our twentieth year of promoting competitive rowing Junior crews. Our primary focus has been and will continue to be on High School Crews and Junior Club Rowing. Many people have enjoyed
learning transferable life skills through this great sport and our programs. Rowing is growing fast locally and many more students
will get a chance to row and develop crews and friendships with our new formula, designed to be even more inclusive and fun. We welcome anybody who has ever wanted to try it, or has even done it before, or wishes to develop to their highest and best to join us. We welcome any and all of our alumni to visit us at Oaks Park anytime. Come down and have a fun row or maybe help your high school develop a rowing club as part of the new ORU matrix.
We are proud of our growing team of outstanding
new coaches whose broad perspective,
experience and dedication reflect a spirit of the sport and to our athletes second to none. Coaches Dr. Robert Klein, Todd Vogt, and Heather Johnson have proven that they can compete at very high levels themselves
and transfer their enthusiasm and skills to a willing participant. We are uniquely set up to develop, support and encourage many more youth oriented crews to form in the area. We will continue to promote such teams when and where we believe they can flourish in hopes that they help each other savor the best this magnificent sport has to offer.
Don’t miss the boat! Join us at Oaks Park “where the fun never ends.” Call us, or come down for a tour of the boathouse.
