The 2010 Fall season for Junior Rowing

begins Tuesday, September 7 and runs through November 5. Practices will be Monday through Friday from 4-6 pm. The  ORU junior program works with athletes age 12-19. ORUis located at the south end of Oaks Amusement Park, just downstream of the Sellwood Bridge.

Races
The following races have racing categories for junior rowers. Please plan to join the ORU team at the four races being held in Portland. The final fall race weekend in Seattle is run on technically challenging courses and will be for advanced rowers in our program.

Saturday, October 2 – Head of the Dog (Sellwood Park)
Sunday, October 3 – Row for the Cure (Downtown Portland)
Saturday, October 30 – Portland LO/OP Regatta of Champions (Oaks Park)
Sunday, October 31 – Portland Fall Classic (Downtown Portland)
Saturday, November 6 - Green Lake Frostbite Regatta (Seattle) - experienced rowers only
Sunday, November 7 – Head of the Lake (Seattle) – experienced rowers only
